Canon PIXMA MX850 Driver

Canon PIXMA MX850 is a good multi-function printer for office users. It uses patented printhead technology and a 5-color ink system to create spectacular photos at color resolutions up to 9600 x 2400 dpi at a speed of approximately 21 seconds for a 4 x 6-inch borderless print of photo lab quality. The built-in Automatic Document Feeder features up to 35 originals and it enables automatic duplex printing, so you no longer have to wait and turn over 2-sided originals manually.

The Canon PIXMA MX850 can connect to a network via an Ethernet connection, and offers the optional BU-30 Bluetooth interface, so you can print wirelessly from a PC or PDA. It runs on Windows and Mac operating systems.

Procedures for the download and installation

Microsoft Windows

  1. Click the button link, select [ Save ], specify “Save As,” then click [ Save ] to download the file.
    Memo :
    If you select [ Run ] ( or [ Open ] ) instead of [ Save ], the file will be automatically installed after it is saved.
  2. The downloaded file will be saved in the specified place in the self-extracting form ( .exe format ).
  3. Double-click the downloaded EXE file to decompress it; then, the installation will start automatically.

Macintosh

  1. Click the button link. The download will start automatically.
  2. Files will be saved on the computer desktop.
  3. Double-click the file to mount the Disk Image.
  4. Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
  5. Double-click the .pkg file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
