Remember that the DeskJet line of printers is not the quickest. The DeskJet 3633 can print in black at 8.5 pages per minute and in color at 6 pages per minute. Less than 14 seconds passed before the first page appeared. Although the 3633 printer has a silent mode that makes it slower and a little quieter, we didn’t find the standard setting to be very noisy.
Up to 1200 × 1200 pixels can be printed, with 4800 x 1200 pixels being effective if you are printing on specific HP photo papers and your source is 1200 dpi. The photocopy is 600 x 300 dpi, but the scanner is 1200 dpi. When printing on photo paper, there are no borders and only 3mm of margins on an A4 page.
The HP DeskJet 3633 features HP ePrint, Wi-Fi networking, and Wi-Fi Direct in addition to fast USB connections. With that final choice, you can wirelessly print from any gadget, even a smartphone or tablet.
Because of its low page yield and high ink consumption, the 3633 requires regular ink cartridge replacements. Maybe you like the HP DeskJet 2755e better because it prints for less money.
